What is DSM's Arnite TV4 261

Multiple levels of electrical safety
In high-voltage components and control modules, electrical stability is a top priority. With an insulation strength of 42 kV/mm, volume resistance of 1E10 Ω-cm, and an arc resistance rating of 5PLC, the Arnite TV4 261 not only meets electrical safety standards, but it also provides protection for high-density cabling and miniaturised modules.
Balanced aesthetics of structural strength and toughness
Compared to traditional ‘brittle’ GF-PBT, TV4 261's mechanical data is quite convincing - tensile strength of 145 MPa, tensile modulus of 9750 MPa, simple beam notch at 23°C, and impact strength of 9.5 kJm. Impact strength of up to 9.5 kJ/m² at 23°C. Even at temperatures as low as -30°C, the unnotched impact toughness remains at 60 kJ/m², demonstrating excellent resistance to low-temperature embrittlement.
Stability is productivity
In injection moulding, Arnite TV4 261 continues to perform well in complex cavity configurations and multi-cavity, high-productivity designs with a 30% glass reinforcement system and low dimensional change of 0.6%, dramatically reducing reject rates and mould calibration costs.
