Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal or Delrin, is a high-density, highly crystalline thermoplastic engineering plastic polymerized from formaldehyde and other raw materials. Depending on the polymerization method, POM can be classified into homopolymer (POM-H) and copolymer (POM-K). Both types of POM exhibit excellent physical, mechanical, and chemical properties, with particularly outstanding performance in terms of friction resistance.

Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as acetal or Delrin, is a high-density, highly crystalline thermoplastic engineering plastic polymerized from formaldehyde and other raw materials. Depending on the polymerization method, POM can be classified into homopolymer (POM-H) and copolymer (POM-K). Both types of POM exhibit excellent physical, mechanical, and chemical properties, with particularly outstanding performance in terms of friction resistance.

POM CF-620 is a special grade of POM that not only inherits the excellent properties of POM materials but also boasts significant high wear resistance and self-lubricating properties. POM CF-620 maintains good wear resistance in various environments, with a static friction coefficient of 0.11 and a dynamic friction coefficient of 0.14. It can be used long-term within a temperature range of -40°C to 100°C and exhibits good resistance to oil and peroxides. When UV stabilizers are added, its resistance to ultraviolet light is significantly enhanced.

In terms of mechanical properties, POM CF-620 is particularly outstanding. At 23°C, it has a tensile strength of 118 MPa, a flexural modulus of 10800 MPa, a flexural strength of 176 MPa, an elongation at break of 3%, and a Rockwell hardness of 86. Additionally, POM CF-620 shows impressive impact performance, with a notched Izod impact strength of 35.71 kJ/m² at 23°C.

These superior properties of POM CF-620 make it an excellent choice for various industrial applications, especially suitable for manufacturing mechanical parts, automotive components, electronic appliances, and precision instruments. Its high wear resistance and self-lubricating properties make it an ideal material for producing high-performance engineering components.
