ABS Plastic Granules

ABS Plastic raw material

The appearance of ABS plastic is opaque and ivory-colored in the form of granules. Its products can be dyed in a variety of colors and have a high gloss finish. The relative density of ABS is around 1.05, and it has a low water absorption rate. ABS has good compatibility with other materials, making it easy to undergo surface printing, coating, and plating treatments. The oxygen index of ABS is 18-20, classifying it as a flammable polymer. When ignited, it produces a yellow flame with black smoke and emits a distinctive cinnamon odor.

The largest application fields for ABS resin are in the automotive, electronics and electrical appliances, and construction materials industries. In the automotive sector, it is used for various parts including car dashboards, exterior body panels, interior trim panels, steering wheels, sound insulation panels, door locks, bumpers, ventilation ducts, and more. In terms of electrical appliances, it is widely used in refrigerators, televisions, washing machines, air conditioners, computers, photocopiers, and other electronic devices. In the construction materials industry, ABS pipes, ABS sanitary ware, and ABS decorative panels are extensively used.
