TECACOMP® PEEK 150 CF30 Black 3154 PEEK Material
Product Struction
TECACOMP® PEEK 150 CF30 black 3154 is a carbon fiber reinforced peek material developed by Ensinger, specifically designed for engineering fields with strict requirements for high mechanical strength and thermal stability. The material is made of 30% carbon fiber composite, which takes into account lightweight, dimensional stability and electrical conductivity, making it exhibit an excellent performance balance in automotive, mechanical equipment and precision engineering applications.

1. Analysis of Technical Characteristics
Compared with ordinary PEEK resin, TECACOMP® PEEK 150 CF30 black 3154 significantly enhances rigidity and tensile strength through carbon fiber reinforcement, while maintaining good heat resistance and wear resistance. This formula enables the material to maintain structural stability without significant deformation under high-temperature loads.
・High strength and high modulus: Carbon fiber reinforced structures can withstand greater stress loads and are suitable for replacing some metal structural components.
・Low shrinkage and high dimensional accuracy: After injection molding, the components have an extremely low deformation rate, ensuring assembly stability.
・Excellent thermal stability: Long-term temperature resistance up to 260°C, short-term temperature resistance up to 300°C, suitable for components exposed to high-temperature environments for a long time.
・Adjustable surface conductivity: The material exhibits a certain degree of conductivity, making it suitable for applications requiring static control.
2. Process Compatibility and Processing Suggestions
TECACOMP® PEEK 150 CF30 black 3154 is supplied in granular form and is suitable for standard injection molding or extrusion molding processes. Due to the high rigidity of the carbon fiber reinforced system, it is recommended that the mold be made of wear-resistant steel and the gate design be optimized to reduce the internal stress caused by uneven fiber orientation.
In terms of processing temperature, it is recommended that the melting temperature be controlled at around 370°C and the mold temperature be maintained at 160-180°C, which can achieve the best surface quality and mechanical properties.
3. Industry Application Fields
This peek material is widely used in fields with extremely high requirements for structural stability and wear resistance:
・Automotive industry: It is used for high-temperature and high-load components such as transmission parts, friction rings, and clutch brackets to enhance overall reliability.
・Mechanical engineering: Suitable for components such as bearing housings, gears, and sliders that require wear resistance and high rigidity.
・Commercial equipment and precision engineering: Providing stable dimensions and low wear characteristics in printing equipment, testing devices, and medical analysis instruments.
・Electronic and electrical systems: The conductivity brought by carbon fiber reinforcement makes it suitable for use as anti-static structural components.

5. Performance Advantages and Innovative Significance
The core advantage of TECACOMP® PEEK 150 CF30 black 3154 lies in the balance of "strength, stability and lightweight". Carbon fiber forms a stable skeleton structure in the PEEK matrix, making the material less prone to deformation or fatigue cracking under force.
Meanwhile, the thermal conductivity of carbon fibers ensures a more uniform heat distribution, making the dimensions of components more stable in high-temperature environments.
Compared with glass fiber reinforced PEEK, this material is lighter and harder, and is particularly suitable for structural components that require rigid support, dimensional accuracy and wear resistance.
It enables designers to achieve reliable and long-lasting mechanical properties without relying on metals.
