Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic polymer formed by the polymerization of propylene monomers, playing a significant role in various fields due to its lightweight, high-performance, and multifunctionality. PP S1003, a specific model of polypropylene produced by Shanghai SECCO Petrochemical Co., Ltd., appears in granular form and is mainly used in injection molding, extrusion molding, and blow molding processes. It is a food-contact grade homopolymer. Its notable features include a narrow molecular weight distribution, high stiffness, and good processability, making it suitable for a wide range of applications such as carpet backing, strapping, brushes, BOPP films, drinking straws, ropes, woven bags, injection molding, and thermoforming applications, as well as artificial turf.

PP S1003 exhibits typical characteristics of polypropylene materials, including a density of about 0.90g/cm³, highlighting its lightweight nature; a melt flow rate (MFR) of 3.0g/10min, reflecting its good processability; a heat distortion temperature (HDT) of 80°C, and a Vicat softening temperature of 151°C, indicating its excellent thermal stability. Furthermore, PP S1003 possesses excellent mechanical properties, such as tensile strength, bending strength, and impact strength, ensuring its durability and reliability in applications.
