What are Dow LLDPE Granules - 1220P

 

LLDPE 1220P is a Linear Low Density Polyethylene film-grade granules launched by Dow Chemical, using butene as the copolymer monomer. Natural color granules, suitable for blow molding and extrusion molding processes. This lldpe granules have been optimized and contains release agents and anti-slip agents. While ensuring processing efficiency, it enhances the optical performance and durability of the terminal film. It complies with food contact regulations and can be widely applied in the fields of food packaging and industrial packaging.

01 | Core Performance Highlights

 

Butene copolymer structure: It endows the material with excellent flexibility and impact resistance, enabling the film to have outstanding tensile and tear resistance.

Outstanding optical performance: Haze is only 13%, gloss is as high as 53 (45°/38μm), and the film transparency is excellent, making it suitable for packaging applications that have requirements for display effects.

Internal additive system: Equipped with opening agents and anti-slip agents, it enhances production efficiency and reduces adhesion and stacking issues.

Color stability and no forming AIDS: It maintains the consistency of the film appearance under various processing conditions, meeting the appearance requirements of high-quality products.

Mechanical property balance: At a thickness of 20μm, the material can achieve an elongation at break of 950-1100%, as well as good tensile strength and rigidity (with a cut modulus of approximately 145-150 MPa), achieving an ideal balance between lightweight and strength.
