I. Material Structure and Performance Analysis
ARLON® 1330 utilizes a PEEK matrix and PTFE filler system, maintaining the inherent structural strength and thermal stability of polyaryletherketone materials while further improving friction, wear, and cleanliness performance.
Dimensional Stability and High Molding Precision
・With a linear expansion coefficient of only 2.3E-5 to 8.2E-5 cm/cm/°C, it maintains extremely low dimensional change even in high-temperature and high-humidity environments, ensuring precise tolerance control between mold and part.
Excellent Chemical and Extraction Resistance
・As a polyketone-based structure, ARLON® 1330 exhibits excellent chemical inertness, resisting attack by acids, bases, solvents, and cleaning agents.
・In addition, its low extractables ensure that no ions or organic residues are released during semiconductor manufacturing processes, significantly reducing the risk of particulate contamination.
Self-lubricating System Reduces Wear
・The addition of PTFE lubricant reduces the surface friction coefficient of the material to 0.15, effectively reducing wear and energy consumption in dynamic contact areas and extending component life.
Thermal Stability and Mechanical Balance
・Melt Temperature: 343°C
・Heat Deflection Temperature (1.8 MPa): 166°C
・Flexural Strength: 145.51 MPa
・Tensile Strength: 86.89 MPa
This balance of properties enables it to withstand high-temperature injection molding while maintaining structural integrity and mechanical load capacity.

Ii. Process Compatibility and Processing Suggestions
ARLON® 1330 is suitable for Injection Molding. Its polyketone skeleton structure and PTFE filling system make it have both fluidity and demolding property.
・Recommended melting temperature: 360-400°C
・Mold temperature: 170-200°C
・It needs to be pre-dried at 150°C for 3 hours to prevent moisture absorption from affecting the surface quality
・Low demolding force can extend the service life of the mold and improve the surface finish of the product
This excellent processing adaptability makes it perform particularly well in cores, sleeves and sliding components.
Iii. Typical Application Fields
ARLON® 1330 is widely used in industrial fields with high precision and high cleanliness requirements, especially performing outstandingly in the semiconductor manufacturing process
・Semiconductor molding: Mold support parts, sealing rings, guiding components
・Wafer packaging and testing: Insulating components requiring low ion extraction
・Chemical equipment and fluid systems: Valve seats, gaskets, isolators
・Precision mechanical structural components: Moving parts that require low-friction sliding fits

Vi. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: What is the biggest difference between ARLON® 1330 and ordinary PEEK?
A: The core difference lies in the adoption of A PTFE lubrication system and a low-extraction design, which endows it with better friction control, chemical stability and cleanliness performance, making it particularly suitable for the semiconductor and high-purity manufacturing fields.
Q2: Will the material's strength be reduced due to the addition of PTFE?
A: Although the addition of PTFE will slightly reduce the tensile strength, its bending, compressive and thermal stability properties still remain at an excellent level, which can meet the usage requirements of structural components.
Q3: Can ARLON® 1330 be blended with other polyketone materials?
A: It is not recommended to blend it for use as it may affect the balance of its low-friction and low-extraction formula. It is recommended to process it independently.
