What is DOW 722 LDPE
DOW 722 LDPE is a general-purpose low density polyethylene ldpe plastic material launched by Dow. It has excellent elongation at break and processing adaptability, and is suitable for various scenarios such as medical packaging, food films, and heat sealing coatings. Its pure homopolymer structure and controllable melting behavior provide end customers with stable performance and environmentally compliant ldpe pellets solution.

High elongation at break and tensile properties
The elongation at break of dow 722 ldpe reaches 500%, and the yield strength is 8.27 MPa, endowing the finished product with excellent ductility and pressure-bearing capacity. It is particularly suitable for film products that require bending, impact or encapsulation and sealing.
Clean formula without additives
The material is a pure base material without release agents or antistatic properties, meeting the requirements for food contact and medical contact. It is particularly suitable for the production of packaging materials that require high cleanliness or subsequent modification and customization.
It has strong compatibility with multiple processing methods
Dow 722 ldpe supports injection molding, extrusion coating and blown film processing. Its melt index is 8.0g /10min and the heat sealing temperature is approximately 105° C. It can achieve stable processing under different equipment and process conditions.

The cleanliness grade of Dow 722 is suitable for use as packaging film or laminating layer for medical catheters and syringes, ensuring that the material maintains chemical stability in a sterilized environment.

Its excellent fluidity and surface properties make it suitable for coating on substrates such as cardboard and aluminum foil, and it can be used as a sealing and barrier layer in hoses, paper cups or composite packaging materials.

In industrial chemical packaging, the tensile and impact strength of Dow 722 can be used for powder and liquid inner bags or protective films to enhance sealing and leak-proof performance.
03 | Processing suggestions and usage tips
Heat sealing and film blowing process: It is recommended that the temperature of the heat sealing area be 100-120°C and the temperature of the film blowing die be 190-210°C to ensure uniform sealing and stable film bubbles.
Thickness control suggestion: Suitable for blown film or coated products within the range of 25-80μm;
Co-extrusion adaptability with other materials: It can be used in combination with EVA, mLLDPE, paper-based materials, etc., to achieve a composite packaging structure.
Clean scene recommendation: In fields such as food, medical care, and electronics, it is necessary to avoid co-extruding materials containing additives to maintain purity.
