POM, vaak aangeduid als acetaal of technische thermoplast, is een thermoplastisch materiaal met hoge dichtheid en hoge kristalliniteit dat wordt gevormd door de polymerisatie van formaldehyde. Het bestaat voornamelijk in twee vormen: homopolymeer (POM-H) en copolymeer (POM-K).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">De hoge dichtheid en kristalliniteit van POM zorgen voor superieure, uitgebreide prestaties. Als kristallijn polymeer zonder zijketens heeft POM een glad, glanzend oppervlak, dat er lichtgeel of wit uitziet. Dit materiaal is extreem hard en dicht, geschikt voor langdurig gebruik binnen een temperatuurbereik van -40\u00b0C tot 100\u00b0C, wat een uitstekende duurzaamheid laat zien. De hoge hardheid en dichtheid zorgen ervoor dat het uitstekend presteert in mechanische toepassingen, met name in componenten die een hoge precisie en hoge slijtvastheid vereisen, waar POM onmisbaar is.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">De slijtvastheid en zelf-smerende eigenschappen van POM overtreffen de meeste andere technische kunststoffen. De lage oppervlaktewrijvingsco\u00ebffici\u00ebnt maakt het ideaal voor gebruik in dynamische contactonderdelen zoals tandwielen en lagers. Bovendien heeft POM een goede chemische bestendigheid, omdat het bestand is tegen oli\u00ebn en peroxiden. Hierdoor wordt het veel gebruikt in de chemische en automobielindustrie, met name bij de productie van brandstofsysteemcomponenten en elektronische en elektrische onderdelen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Specifiek vertoont POM EC-610B een reeks indrukwekkende prestatieparameters. Volgens het door de gebruiker verstrekte document is de treksterkte van POM EC-610B bij 23\u00b0C 54 MPa, met een rek van 5%. De buigmodulus en buigsterkte zijn respectievelijk 2800 MPa en 98 MPa. De gekerfde Izod-slagsterkte bij kamertemperatuur (23\u00b0C) is 26,53 kJ\/m\u00b2 en 3,06 kJ\/m\u00b2 bij lage temperatuur. De warmteafbuigingstemperatuur van POM EC-610B is 160\u00b0C (0,45 MPa) en 120\u00b0C (1,8 MPa) in de ongegloeide toestand. Het soortelijk gewicht is 1,43 g\/cm\u00b3, met krimpsnelheden in de stromingsrichting en loodrechte richting van respectievelijk 1,6% en 1,9%. De Rockwell-hardheid is 82 (R-schaal).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Deze uitstekende eigenschappen maken POM EC-610B een ideale keuze voor technische toepassingen. De hoge hardheid en hoge slijtvastheid maken het veelgebruikt in de automobielindustrie voor brandstofsysteemcomponenten en elektronische en elektrische onderdelen. In de machinebouw worden POM-materialen vaak gebruikt om tandwielen, lagers en glij-elementen met hoge precisie te produceren, wat de stabiliteit en levensduur van apparatuur garandeert. In de elektronica- en elektrische sector wordt POM gebruikt om connectoren, schakelaars en behuizingen te maken, wat de superieure mechanische en chemische eigenschappen ervan laat zien.
