Se produce a partir de formaldeh\u00eddo y otros materiales mediante una reacci\u00f3n de polimerizaci\u00f3n. Seg\u00fan su estructura, el POM se clasifica en homopol\u00edmeros (POM-H) y copol\u00edmeros (POM-K). Ambos tipos son pl\u00e1sticos de ingenier\u00eda termopl\u00e1sticos de alta densidad y alta cristalinidad con excelentes propiedades f\u00edsicas, mec\u00e1nicas y qu\u00edmicas, especialmente en t\u00e9rminos de resistencia al desgaste.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">El POM es un pol\u00edmero cristalino de alta densidad sin cadenas laterales, que presenta excelentes propiedades integrales. Tiene una superficie lisa y brillante, es duro y denso y tiene un color amarillo claro o blanco. Se puede utilizar durante per\u00edodos prolongados dentro de un rango de temperatura de -40 \u00b0C a 100 \u00b0C. El POM no solo posee una resistencia al desgaste superior y propiedades autolubricantes, sino que tambi\u00e9n tiene buena resistencia al aceite y al per\u00f3xido. Al agregarle agentes UV, su resistencia a la luz ultravioleta se mejora significativamente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 14pt;\">El POM FW700S de LG es un material de polioximetileno resistente al desgaste en forma granular, lo que lo hace f\u00e1cil de procesar, principalmente mediante moldeo por inyecci\u00f3n.
